The project is structured in one administrative and eight scientific work packages. WP1-5 are dedicated to new or refined "components" for Earth system models. WP6 and WP7 are dedicated to the systematic analysis of the effects of new components of WP1-5 on the climate system in terms of mean climatology, internal variability, predictability and climate sensitivity. WP8 investigates impacts a global and regional scales and explores the iterative improvements of scenarios based on results from WP6 and WP7.
